Student Groups Customized instruction- We use the term “customized learning” to refer to a sequence of multimodal learning experiences that are informed by student data, which is applied to boost motivation and achievement. ie. teacher adjusted instruction based upon data In order to provide customized access to digital content the teacher must create student groups.

Create at least one customized group of students. When you are done, come back to Blackboard and raise your hand.

Discussions The discussion feature allows you to pose a question or topic for students to respond to. Students can respond with text, images, videos, and links. You can moderate discussion posts if necessary. Remember, discussions can be given to customized small groups.

Create a discussion board. When you are done, come back to Blackboard and raise your hand.

Turn-Ins Once you assign a score, the student will no longer be able to submit any additional items for that turn-in, even if the turn-in has not been closed. However, if you assign an M to denote a missing assignment, the student will still be able to provide a submission. Parents can view and respond to comments made on turn-in assignments.
