Why would anyone want to do all this work? Friday afternoons, provide lunch, faculty have ownership and a voice in what is being done, student success and retention is increasing, adminstrators aren’t dictating what needs to be done, and the creators are the implementors 11/11/201811/11/2018 www.sanjac.edu

Lessons Learned Make it local Listen and trust your faculty. They are the experts in the classroom. They are at a perfect position to make the biggest impact Revise, revise, revise 11/11/201811/11/2018 www.sanjac.edu

Where do we go from here? The Math R & D Team will continue exploring new ways and opportunities for student success by looking at data, reviewing research, and making improvements in our current courses. The English R & D will be piloting the new Composition I and II courses, will continue to design the co-requisites, and create notebooks to assist part-time faculty instruction. 11/11/201811/11/2018 www.sanjac.edu
