Day 1: Tuesday London to Greece by air. Coach transfer from airport to hotel. Get to know Athens Evening meal at the hotel. Evening walking tour of central Athens (Plaka).

Day 2: Wednesday Breakfast in hotel. Discover ancient Athens: Guided tour of the city Acropolis complex Acropolis Museum Lunch in Athens

Day 2: Wednesday Afternoon: travel by coach to the ancient site of Delphi. Evening Meal will be served at a local restaurant - Epikouros Restaurant.

Day 3: Thursday Breakfast in hotel. Morning visit to Delphi: ancient site and museum. Lunch in Delphi.

Day 3: Thursday Afternoon travel by coach to Tolon. Evening meal served at the hotel.

Day 4: Friday Breakfast in hotel. Journey to visit the ancient site of Olympia, including the ancient stadium. Sprint: who will win the one stadion race? Visit to the museum. Lunch in Olympia. Return to Tolon.

Day 5: Saturday Breakfast in hotel. Visit to ancient Mycenae and the classical sanctuary of Epidauros. End of morning visits.

Day 5: Saturday (afternoon) Coach to Nauplion Climb to the Palamedes fortress. Evening meal in hotel. Last night of ice creams in Tolon.

Day 6: Sunday Breakfast in hotel. Packing up. Visit to the ancient site of Nemea as a farewell to all ruins. Transfer back to Athens for flights to London.

Food and drink Breakfast and evening meals are all provided, except: Tuesday morning (departure at start of trip): breakfast will be provided by the airline, but you may want to buy some food at Heathrow. Lunches are not provided. It is easy to find suitable (and cheap) restaurants for lunch near all the sites we will be visiting.

Any questions? Arrive at Freman for 3:45 am departure on Tuesday 3rd April 2018. Make sure you have no more than 23kg in your suitcase. You can take one item of hand luggage as well. Do not put any liquids or sharp objects in your hand luggage. Bring your passport and EHIC card next week if you haven’t done it yet!
