Function Reducing greenhouse gases in the atmosphere By Kathleen Chang Function Reducing greenhouse gases in the atmosphere Preventing harms from anthropogenic sources and preventing harms to anthropogenic sources Maintain stable climate system Control countries with greater emissions and limit their emissions Binds all signing countries to maintain environmentally sustainable principles Forces countries to create policies that are compliant with the notions of the Kyoto Protocol Continues to maintain environmental sustainability within countries Kyoto Protcol set targets for nations to comply with while the principles were created by the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change
