Colin Powell By Caden Salamone

Colin’s early life Colin Powell was born on April 5, 1937 in New York City. His parents were immigrants from Jamaica. When he was older he studied geology at the city college of New York. He graduated in 1958 and became a U.S. army officer.

What he was like He was very brave because he fought in the Vietnam war and the Persian gulf war of 1991. He was happy because he accomplished every thing he wanted to !!!

What he’s famous for Colin is famous for being the first African American to become the Secretary of state and he was very highly ranked in the army.
