Photovoltaic system - Altamira
Global analysis 1. Seven portals with their own electricity meter and two for each garage: - all the lights on the external side are connected in a mixed way with the portals - portal THREE is the entrance for the electricity of the garden = BIG consumer. - the costs are: 1. “potencia": fixed and important amount depending on the maximum you may need 2. real consumption 3. “impuestos” (taxes) 2. Lights: - about 90% of the lamps are replaced during the last three years by LED-lights. Needs to be examined which are the other 10% (for example: large garden lights?). Remark : potencia: has it been adapted to a lower consumption? - light sensor: on the garden lights. 3. Switch: separates the lights from the basement and the hall
What may be done? Measures to reduce consumption. Lights in the garage of building 1: split in (at least three) zones and initiated by motion detectors. Now all the lights are always ignited. (Antonio) All the light bulbs should be replaced by (Philips/Osram) LED-bulbs: 10% still conventional. Within less than a year or two positive cost/benefit. The life time of LED-lights is now also considerably longer. https://www.ledsky.be/nl/besparingscalculator/ Most important consumer = motor for the water supply (building1 - garage). Full power everytime when somebody opens a water tap = a very frequent, very intense and short peak current. Reduce the consumption by 50 % = 10 years (at the actual electricity price!) to get a break even. The life time of the motor will be extended considerably.
What may be done? Measures to reduce consumption. Consumption of portal 1-7 varies between 199 to 300 kWh/month: reasonable explanation for this difference of 50%? Elevators of portal 6 and 7: install a motion detector/switch (now: 24h/24h enlightened) Reduce the number of electricity meters? The potencia of every portal 1-7 and the garages should be revaluated after the changes.
Solar panels Location 2. roof (blue): (visual) problem for some people 1. about 70 m² in front of the building (white) next to the dental clinic - cleaning / eliminate IUCA ‘s - NOT ENOUGH for general consumption 2. roof (blue): (visual) problem for some people - roof tile colour (price!) - general consumption - ev. private consumption (division of costs?)
Solar panels: Location roof is the unique option Connection mostly not a problem Price 5 companies – not interested (at the moment) Problem - large price difference between in (consumption)/out (storage on the grid) = NOT profitable AT THE MOMENT - battery = disconnection from the grid Proposal allocate 50 E/unit/sem. from the actual community fee to a “solar panel reserve”

For the record: pool heating by solar pool heater? No legal problem Pumping system needs electricity
