Parish of Saint Damien of Molokai Mission To serve Jesus Christ by loving God and each other, to spread the Good News and to make new disciples in our community. Vision To unify, awaken and energize the faithful and make our celebration of the Eucharist an irresistible expression of welcome, faith and love. Touch one person at a time!

Saint Damien of Molokai Pope Francis on Evangelization “I dream of a missionary option”, that is, a missionary impulse capable of transforming everything, so that the Church’s customs, ways of doing things, times and schedules, language and structures can be suitably channeled for the evangelization of today’s world, rather than self-preservation. We must admit that the call to review and renew our parishes has not yet sufficed to bring them nearer to people, to make them environments of living communion and participation, and to make them mission orientated. Touch one person at a time!

Saint Damien of Molokai Greeting Team Purpose: create welcoming environment as you enter our churches for Mass Extremely positive responses from parishioners Very rewarding for the greeters However, we need your help! Our goal is to have at least one greeter at every door for each Mass at both churches You select the days and the Mass that you prefer Sign-up sheet is by the door.

Saint Damien of Molokai How can you support the mission/vision? What is your role? How can you help? How can you grow your faith in Christ? By your personal actions and touching “one more person” so that others see Christ and your faith in your words and actions At home with your family, at the grocery store, on the phone, driving your vehicle, on the golf course, in the bowling alley, on the slopes, etc. - Everywhere you go and everyone with whom you interact! Particularly at Mass and your interaction with others How can each of our ministries support our mission and vision? Without you, they cannot!
