Quality Comprehensive Improvement System Tools to Support the Leadership Team JoAnn Moore School Improvement Specialist Metro RESA October 28, 2015

Learning Target Participants will understand a process for leadership teams to utilize QCIS to create reports, agendas and minutes to monitor the school improvement process.

What is QCIS? A continuous school improvement planning process built on straight forward and research-based practices that: Targets the actions of adults that make a difference to students and their learning. Looks at the everyday practices of teaching, leading, learning and developing.

The work of the leadership team Data Analysis The school leadership team analyzes a variety of data to make decisions, solve problems, and implement the school improvement process. HANDOUT 1
