WISD Unity Day October 19th Wear orange in support of anti-bullying Tryouts for our 2nd-4th grade students who turned in permission forms begins on Monday.  If you have questions, you can call Ms. Porter at 972-429-3406.   Akin will be starting a new initiative to help encourage our students and staff to get outside and walk together!  Friday, September 30th  , will be our first Froggy Fitness Friday.  Every grade-level will walk and keep up with the laps they are able to complete during the first or last 15 minutes of their recess time!  We are calling it the September School Day Stomp!  Please make sure your child wears appropriate shoes for walking on this day!
