Converting to Christianity is forbidden. THE #34 PLACE WHERE CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION IS WORST Life is hard for Christians in Kuwait with around 70% of the population being Muslim and where sharia (Islamic) law governs the country. The Islamic State has a large presence and people are increasingly hostile towards Christians. Converting to Christianity is forbidden. A bill was announced to forcefully eliminate all churches in Kuwait. Many have already been destroyed.

PRAY FOR OUR PERSECUTED FAMILY Pray for God to change the Kuwait government’s opinion of Christians so that they will allow religious freedom in the country. Pray for Christians in Kuwait to love and forgive Muslims who discriminate against them for their faith. Pray for Christian converts in Muslim families. Pray that their transformation will lead many to Christ in Kuwait.
