THE #14 PLACE WHERE CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION IS WORST While the south of Nigeria has a majority Christian population, the 12 northern states are governed by Sharia law. The northern government denies Christians access to basic services like medical care, education and humanitarian aid. Christianity in Nigeria comes at a high cost. In recent years Boko Haram has killed and displaced thousands of believers.
On Saturday, 14 April, it was four years since Boko Haram stormed a school in Chibok and abducted more than 230 girls. To date only 103 of these girls have been released or rescued… Open Doors recently visited the Chibok parents to encourage them. The Chibok parents ask that we pray for them:

PRAY FOR OUR PERSECUTED FAMILY Pray for protection for the Christian women in danger of being kidnapped and forced into marriage. Pray that the Lord will equip the Church with joy and strength as they work to help thousands of displaced Christians. Pray for the Lord’s provision for Christian communities in need of clean water and medical care.
