Tonight 1st “Longsuffering” God Is Our First Example God Waited In The Days Of Noah Over 100 Years He Waited All The While Hoping These People Would Listen To His Servant Noah 1 Peter 3:20 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, 19 by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, 20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.

Moses Sees That God Is Longsuffering Ex 34:4 So he cut two tablets of stone like the first ones. Then Moses rose early in the morning and went up Mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him; and he took in his hand the two tablets of stone.

God Was Longsuffering, But Long It Will Last As Seen Ex 34:5-7 Now the LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. 6 And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering , and abounding in goodness and truth, 7 keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children to the third and the fourth generation." God Was Longsuffering, But There IS An End To How Long It Will Last As Seen On Mt. Sanai With Israel

The Lord Is Still That Way Today & Until Judgment 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

God Is Looking For Longsuffering In Us Today In The Church It is up to us to Walk Worthy No one CAN DO THAT BUT US Col 1:12 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;

Holy & Beloved Put On Longsuffering Col 3:12-14 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering ; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. God Has Shown Kindness Especially In Sending His SON Eph 2:4-7 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

God Is Looking For Kindness In Us Today Prov 19:22 What is desired in a man is kindness , Col 3:12-13 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness , humility, meekness, longsuffering; 2 Peter 1:7 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness , and to brotherly kindness love.

3rd – “Goodness” As Exemplified By Our God Ex 34:6 And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, Ps 31:19 Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You

Ps 107:15 Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness , And for His wonderful works to the children of men! Isa 63:7 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD And the praises of the LORD, According to all that the LORD has bestowed on us, And the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Jer 33:9 Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.'

The Lord IS Expecting To See His Goodness Work In US God Has Been There For Man Doing Everything Possible To Assist & Help Him Overcome Satan & The World Yet, He Can Only Make The Way Available To Man & It Is Up To Man To Take It The Lord IS Expecting To See His Goodness Work In US Rom 2:2-5 And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? 4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness , forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? 5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
