The Early Church

The Early Church Acts 10:38 (The Message) 38 Then Jesus arrived from Nazareth, anointed by God with the Holy Spirit, ready for action. He went through the country helping people and healing everyone who was beaten down by the Devil. He was able to do all this because God was with him.

He Has Emotions Isaiah 63:10 (NLT) 10 But they rebelled against him and grieved his Holy Spirit. So he became their enemy and fought against them. Ephesians 4:30 (NLT) 30 And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live.

He Has a Will 1 Corinthians 12:11 (ESV) 11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.

Challenge

Challenge 1 John 2:27 (NLT) But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.
