Work Session Sheppard Software (Countries L and 1) (Seas & Bays L and G) When finished, wait for maps to be passed out and directions to be given. You must label on the maps: Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Euphrates River, Jordan River, Tigris River, Suez Canal, Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, Arabian Sea, Red Sea, and the Gaza Strip. When finished labeling, study the map and create a way to remember the map using your learning style. Music – create a song, rap, or poem based on the location of countries/physical features. Body/Kinesthetic – write down where countries and physical features are in relation to each other (North, South, East, West, etc). Visual/Spatial – draw the countries on a blank piece of paper so you can remember what they look like. Verbal/Linguistic – create a vacation travel book discussing location of countries and physical features discussed today.
