Vineland Department of Health Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) Comparisons to New Jersey and National Data Presented By: Holleran October 12, 2007 Vineland Hispanic BRFSS 2007

Methodology A total of 301 Hispanic individuals who reside in Vineland City were interviewed to assess their health practices and health status. Interviews were conducted between July 2006 and August 2007. Each interview lasted approximately 12-15 minutes depending upon what criteria were met by the respondents.

Statistically Significant Differences By Gender Exercise and Physical Activity Women were more likely to report mostly sitting or standing at work while men were more likely to report mostly walking or heavy labor/physically demanding work. Women were more likely than men to have participated in physical activity other than their regular job. Women were more likely to engage in moderate physical activities for 10 minutes at a time.
