What was powerful? What did you notice? How was the sound used? How many layers of sound? Why was this format powerful?

Power of 360 Consumer is active participant. Barriers between self and the other erodes. They are transported.  Consumers are actually “there.” Users respond to a media experience as if they are actually living through it. POWER OF EMPATHY. Greater understanding of stories when the spatial elements of a location are key to comprehending the reality of events. Even when the sophistication of technology is limited, users react to immersive experience in very real ways.

360 video is cutting edge…. Decent camera isn’t too expensive Excellent storytelling opportunity Natural extension of other technologies that allowed audience to go further with story, interact more with subjects. Viewers feel like they have control. Viewers have grown up with rich media experiences. This is next stop.

Brainstorming best stories What would make for good immersive 360 video? If not sure now, that’s ok. But start thinking about your stories in an interactive way. What elements will there be?
