How Do I Pay for Post-Secondary Education? Some parents have been able to put money aside to pay costs Some students work and save, paying a semester at a time Most rely on some type of Financial Aid

What is Financial Aid Grants – Pell Grant, University Grant, Departmental Grant = FREE money often based on family financial need Scholarships – Institutional: Wildcat Excellence, NAU Lumberjack, ASU Presidential and GCU Presidential                               Private: Elks Most Valuable Student, Earn to Learn, Flinn Scholars Program, PUSD Against All Odds, Community Service and Leadership Loans – based on your FAFSA application = DEBT that must be paid back along with accrued interest The Federal Work-Study Program - offers paid part-time jobs (10-15 hours per week) to help students pay for part of their college cost (personal expenses).
