New Sequence File>New…a.k.a.timeline

Import Assets File>Import Browse to inClass>premiere>projects>cats Should be about 15 items Switch to icons Back to list view Leave one you prefer

Drag avi Home key (What does that do?) Drag pic1.avi to the v1 track Delete the audio portion; will substitute music Click on pic1.avi on the timeline Find/show Info tab How long is the clip? Frame rate? Frame size? Duration?

Select pic1.avi avi is a Microsoft movie format Technically it’s a container like zip Premiere can handle about 50 various formats

Deleting clips Delete a clip (not the last one) by trying the following: Select it Right-click on the picture Choose Clear (or Del) It may leave a gap:

Ripple Delete Or Directly select the clip you want to delete, then Right-click on the NAME of the clip and choose Ripple Delete

Adding clips other than at the end Control-Drag to desired location. Be careful where you drop the clip, it CAN get inserted right in the middle of an existing clip, instead of at the end of one
