Tuesday: Birthday, Scott: Happy birthday is capitalized when it is used in a direct address. A comma is also added for this reason. Scott is the name of a person, so it should also be capitalized. can’t believe: The apostrophe was missing in the contraction can’t. Believe was also misspelled. seven: Numbers under 10 should be written. celebrate, we: Commas separate introductory elements from the rest of the sentence. dinner, playing…, and watching: Commas are used to separate items in a series. Items in a series should be in parallel structure (verbs all ending in ing). Dinner was misspelled. who’s: Whose indicates possession. Who’s is a contraction for who is or who has. coming, but: A comma separates two complete sentences with a conjunction (but). Scott: Again, Scott is a proper noun and should be capitalized. © Presto Plans
