Building in the Block Area ESL Summer 2015 Week 1

Jose M. “My building is about Rapunzel. Rapunzel was a stolen young princess. She was stolen by Mother Gothel. I made Rapunzel and Mother Gothel. My building is tall and it has a window and Mother Gothel is climbing Rapunzel’s hair. I worked hard to build it because it kept on falling down about four times because I discovered it was too high, so I tried to make it not so high this time.”

Jose N. “This is where people work. They write words on their computer and they get work from their boss. I made it with blocks and stones and paper. I did it all by myself. I feel happy because it’s the same size as me.“

Janeli and Blanca Janeli: “It was a castle for a princess and a queen and it was a royal castle.” Blanca: “The castle was for royal princesses and queens and kings. The castle was built for everybody and there was going to be a party.” Janeli: “The party had a lot of people and then in the night everybody went home.” Blanca: “And all the people were happy about the party. The queen and the princess had a celebration for the princess! And the people went again to the castle to celebrate the princess’ birthday party. It was her 12th birthday and there were 4 piñatas and four cakes. - The End”

Jasmine C. “My building has a beach behind it in the backyard. It has a dog. They have money in the chamber where the flower and person is. They have lots of rugs in the house. There is a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room and a bedroom.”
