Today’s Objectives Finish building bridges Gallery Walk/ Peer Evaluations Bridge Testing Clean Up

Finish Building Bridges You will have 30 minutes to complete the rest of your bridge. You will have A finished looking bridge product A road cut out of sentence starters for the pennies to be placed on

Clean Up 1 You will have 7 minutes to clean up and get ready for a classroom Gallery Walk Your table must: Be free of any scraps of pasta/marshmallow Have your bridge nicely displayed on it’s template Have its initial design out for people to look at The sheet indicating the number of pieces of pasta/marshmallow used

Gallery Walk/Peer Evaluations Peer Evaluations are anonymous ( Only I will see your names) You will be randomly assigned a bridge to critique but walk around and observe all of the bridges and the hard work that your classmates have done. DO NOT TOUCH OR TAMPER WITH ANOTHER GROUPS’ BRIDGE!!!

Bridge Testing Two bridges will go at a time Make sure each bridge has a road placed on it Have a counter count the number of pennies put on the bridge before it starts to break Record that number on your half sheet

Final Clean Up/ Turn In Make sure : To clean up any parts of your bridge that did not survive the test Your table is clean for the next class You have calculated the mass and weight that the bridge can hold on that half sheet Stapled your initial design and half sheet and turned it into the bucket
