Mount Rainier By: Meghan Krueger

Weathering, Growing, Used, Type The mountain is still growing but not as fast as it used to grow. This type of mountain “mount rainier” is a Stratovolcano but also know as the composite volcano. The mountain is now used for people to go on and there are trails that people can hike on. The mount rainier is the biggest on the Cascade Range. mount rainier gets weather by the snow and the ice melting from the heat and then it freezes.

Active This mountain used to be a active volcano but now should be can a mountain because it doesn’t erupt as much.

Ring of fire It is part of the ring of fire of volcano because it almost circles the Pacific Ocean. The elevation of mount rainier is about 14,409. The last eruption was in 1894.

Predictions for the future The predictions for the future are that the volcano might erupt. People by it might get effected when it does erupt again.
