CREATING A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION: 1 . Insert or attach memory storage or diskette Start PowerPoint by clicking on icon or selecting from “Start” “Programs” menu. Click on “Blank Page” icon to open a new presentation. First create a title page. Click on “Insert” and select “New Slide” to open layout window. Select “Title Page” or “Title Only”. Provide a title and any other information needed for the title slide

CREATING A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION: 2 6. Select color scheme or template 7. Add new slides by clicking on “Insert” and “New Slide”. If new slide will have the same structure as the current slide, click on “Duplicate Slide” and edit it. 8. Add color by right clicking the mouse to bring up a menu and select format. Choose color, size, or other options. 9. Add pictures, sound, or movies by clicking on “Insert” and selecting “Pictures” or “Movies and Sound” and choosing “From File.” 10. Be sure to save your file on A: or your memory device with a meaningful name.
