Creating My Tagxedo Pic
Go to the website: tagxedo.com Click on “Create”
You should see something like this. Click on the word “Load . . .”
This pops up. Enter text (all of your words) and click “Submit” Enter all of your words here. Be sure to type your name at least 10 times. There is no need to type other words more than once. After typing all words, click “Submit.”
Adding your image: Click on “Add image”
This is the slightly complicated part – to get to your pic Go to the start menu Click on “My Network Places” Click “Microsoft Windows Net” Click “AISD” Scroll down or across until you find “Austinsrv2” – Click on it. Look for AusStudent. Click on it. Click on the folder “Kirkpatrick” Look for your class’s file. Click on it. Look for your pic. Click on it. Say “Open.” This will upload your pic.

To see your image: Slide the threshold and blur bars to the left – adjusting until you can see a clear image of your face. Then click “Accept.”
Then go to Word/Layout Options- Make sure you’re on the “Layout” tab. 1. Slide “Maximum Word Count” all the way to the right. 2. Slide “Tightness” all the way to the right. 3. Hard Boundary: Change to “Yes” 4. Allow Replication: Change to “Yes” 5. Theme Preference: MUST select “White Friendly” – to save ink 6. Then click on “Accept.” DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING I HAVE NOT ASKED YOU TO CHANGE.
Next, click on the “Word” tab 1 Next, click on the “Word” tab 1. You may allow punctuation such as apostrophes (‘) if you want. 2. You may allow numbers if you want. (Ex: 3~dogs) 3. On “Remove Common Words” – I click “no” 4. I change the “frequence modifier” to :50 Then click on “Accept.”
Then you can play with color, theme, font, orientation, layout, all
Just play with different colors, fonts, layouts – Then check “History” and choose your favorite. Be sure to only choose those with very light backgrounds.
1. Once you have selected your favorite pic, go to the “Save/share/print” link and click on it. 2. Select the box that says “16MP JPG.”
The save screen will pop up. BE SURE TO SAVE TO YOUR STUDENT NUMBER! Save as JPG file
When your image is saved, this screen will pop up. Click on “No thanks When your image is saved, this screen will pop up. Click on “No thanks! I’m busy today!”
Then print, and you’re done! You will select the library printers.
