Background / Adult Years Elected to U.S. House in 1946; elected to Senate In 1952. After traveling Europe, enlisted in U.S. Navy after U.S. entry into WWII. Commander of PT-109 Marriage to Jacqueline Bouvier, 12 Sept 1953.
