¡Bienvenidos! Las metas de hoy… Para tener éxito… Trabajo del timbre: Get out your questions, data, and lined sheets of paper & be ready to go! Las metas de hoy… Para tener éxito… We are learning (to)… understand what the end-of-unit project is all about discuss/write about our lifestyles and preferences, especially pertaining to our health, and revise our work use a wide variety of regular and irregular verbs in familiar and unfamiliar contexts think on our feet as we write and expand on our thoughts in the target language We’ll know we’re successful when we can… use/hear/understand all of the vocabulary and structures from the year and revise & explain errors conjugate verbs , such as: ser, estar, comer, beber, deber, creer, compartir, hacer, tener, preferir, querer, poder, gustar, jugar, dormir, and encantar, with accuracy begin writing our rough drafts of our paragraphs for our final project in understandable, complex, and creative sentences.

La Práctica del escrito de un párrafo My parents don’t do exercise a lot. My mom doesn’t like to run or walk. My dad prefers to play videogames and watch t.v. I think that my parents should be more healthy. I agree that playing videogames is fun too. I believe that they need to spend more time at the gym or outside. My mom has to walk more too. I exercise two or three times each week. I love to swim in the summer and play basketball in the winter for exercise. To maintain our health, my family and I could walk together in the park each day for no less than 20 minutes.

To get a good grade you must show me you know how to do the following in writing: conjugate regular (-ar, -er, -ir) verbs by using their correct endings conjugate irregular verbs by using their correct forms (ser, estar, preferir, jugar, querer, poder, etc.) “agree” your adjectives to the nouns they describe in gender (masculine & feminine) and quantity (singular & plural) use the phrases: creer + que + deber, estar + de + acuerdo, tener + que use two verbs back-to-back (first one is conjugated/ second one is infinitive) use gustar and encantar correctly write using sentence structures that are correct AND are varied – not all the same exact structure!

El Escrito independiente Write (at least) one paragraph for each survey question about what you found out. Here is an example structure: what you see in the data (using a variety of verbs, especially: comer, beber, hacer, ser, estar, preferir, querer, gustar, encantar, correr, jugar, dormir, etc.) what you think about what you see (using creer+que and estar + de acuerdo) what you think people could do/have to do/need to do (using creer + que, tener + que + infinitive, necesitar, poder, etc.) what your own personal response is to the question what advice you have to give yourself &/or others based on what you learned (using creer + que, deber, estar + de acuerdo, mantener, ser saludable, poder, compartir, etc.)

¡El Dato! *You need to finish asking your survey questions & collecting your data. *Then you need to make your graphs before next class.
