Welcome to Bod Squad Tours!! The Bod Squad proudly presents it’s newest destination……. By Lori Chadwick

Your Circulatory System! Today The Bod Squad is going to take you on an exciting tour of your circulatory system. By the end of the tour, you will have visited the hub, highway and the juice of the circulatory system. So, please keep all eyes and brains inside the computer at all times while on the tour. Are you ready? Let’s Go!!

We begin our tour at the hub of this fast moving system, the heart.

This is how the heart works:    Oxygen-poor blood (shown in blue) flows from the body into the right atrium.    Blood flows through the right atrium into the right ventricle.    The right ventricle pumps the blood to the lungs, where the blood releases waste gases and picks up oxygen.    The newly oxygen-rich blood (shown in red) returns to the heart and enters the left atrium.    Blood flows through the left atrium into the left ventricle.   The left ventricle pumps the oxygen-rich blood to all parts of the body. We’ve stayed in the same place long enough, let’s get moving.

The Veins, The Highway System of the Body After visiting the heart, let’s go to the veins. The veins carry the blood to and from the heart. They travel throughout the whole body.

And what is the juice of the Circulatory System you ask?

The blood is made up of three major types of cells. They are: White Blood Cells Red Blood Cells Platelets

However, blood is about 55% plasma However, blood is about 55% plasma. Plasma is a clear, yellowish fluid that is mostly made up of water. Plasma

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the circulatory system And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the circulatory system. Thank you for choosing the Bod Squad as your body tour company. If your enjoyed your tour, please tell your friends and neighbors about us. If you didn’t, that is too bad. Have a nice day!!
