Extreme long shot DETAILS RESULT Sunrise over a wide open landscape. Establishes setting and scene New dawn symbolises a new era with Simba’s birth

Long shot DETAILS RESULT Pride rock with animals gathering below Mufasa. RESULT Setting and characters’ place within it established.

Full shot DETAILS RESULT Alert cheetah’s entire body shown. The entire body of the alert animal indicates something big is happening.

Medium shot DETAILS RESULT Animals shown from the waste up. Close enough for facial expressions. Body language increases detail.

Close up shot DETAILS RESULT Mufasa shown above shoulders. Details, like facial expressions, are very clear.

Eye level shot DETAILS RESULT Normal eye level scene. Suggests real life. Equality.

Low angle shot DETAILS RESULT Camera is below or looking up at an object or figure RESULT Makes the object seem large and/or powerful. Suggests dominance and or power.

Under shot DETAILS RESULT Camera is directly beneath the object or figure. RESULT Can suggest extreme power or danger. E.g. stampeding cattle.
