Synonyms and Antonyms

What are synonyms? Synonyms are words that have similar meanings. You can use a synonym to replace a word in a sentence, and the sentence will still have the same meaning. Think fast! Synonyms have similar meanings.

Examples Painting and Picture Mad and Angry Rabbit and Bunny Rocks and Stones

What are antonyms? Antonyms are words that have opposite meanings. If you change a word in a sentence to its antonym, the sentence changes to mean the opposite. For example, “my hair is wet” means the opposite of “my hair is dry.”
