(4C-4A) EVEN BETTER IF you can plan a siege and explain why you use the weapons that you do. (5C-5B). EXCELLENT IF you can judge how useful specific weapons are in a siege? (5A-6A) CHALLENGE!!! CONSIDER WHAT THE BEST WAY TO DEFEND A CASTLE FROMA SIEGE WOULD BE!!!

It is time to lay siege to Jerusalem! The leader of your army has asked you to plan the siege of Jerusalem. You can have any weapons you want. Jerusalem has thick stone walls and lots of families inside as well as lots of archers. Write a report to him explaining how you will use the siege weapons we have looked at to destroy the castle! In your report consider which weapons will be most important in your siege and why! SWITCH SIDES! How might you defend your castle from a siege like the one you have just planned? Strength, size, and resources inside the castle What was their morale like - could this be reduced by fear and intimidation? Identify all the weak spots of the Castle 15 minutes What will you use first?
