Welcome to Knights & Castles!

Course Description Students explore the literature, architecture, and art of historical periods when kings, knights, and castles flourished. Main topics include medieval heroes, the Crusades, Black Death, Battle of Hastings, Arthur, medicine, and weaponry. They learn how people lived and how the church and history changed their lives.

Course Description Cont. We will also be looking at ideologies of Medieval times, such as chivalry, love, class, etc., and examining and analyzing how they have evolved over time and their current state in the 21st century
