Plots Macabre: gruesome, grisly, horrid People placed in extreme situations to reveal their true nature (murder, live burials, torture, and retribution from the grave) Peered into the darkness of the supernatural
Purpose To explore the human mind in extreme situations and thus arrive at some truth To examine the human heart under various conditions: fear, greed, vanity, mistrust, and betrayal. Basically, to show off/explore the dark side of human nature
