Life's not so bad! Cities begin to grow Vernacular- Writing that appeared in everyday language, regular people could read it. Helps spread education to masses. Less violence But by 1300 a disease known as the plague ruins everything

1348-1350 The Plague: One of the most devastating diseases in world history, It killed 30-60 percent of Europe's population. Spread by bacteria in rats Easily treated by today's medicine
