Progressive Era *Fix Gilded Age problems! *Movement from the 1890s to 1920s to support widespread social activism and political reform across the U.S. *The main objectives were to eliminate problems caused by industrialization, urbanization, immigration, and political/economic corruption in government from the Gilded Age.

Populist Party *An agrarian political party in the U.S. which drew support from angry farmers and was highly critical of capitalism, especially banks and railroad, and allied itself with the labor movement. *It was merged into the Democratic Party in 1896.
