KGP Logistics - Homepage Enter your Username and Password and click on Login. This will take you to the Welcome page or Select Account page depending on your account setup.

KGP Logistics - Select Account Page If you have access to more than one account, the Select Account page presents those accounts. Simply select the account you wish to use and click the Select Account button. You will be taken to the Welcome Page (page 4). If you only have one account with KGP Logistics, you are taken directly to the Welcome page after logging in (page 4).

KGP Logistics - Welcome Page Our Welcome Page provides access to all available search types. Search Types: Manufacturer Part # Item # Customer Part # Keyword (s) Product Category Manufacturer Note: Customer Part # is only available if we have loaded your proprietary part numbers in our database.

Catalog Search – Manufacturer Part # Enter the manufacturer’s part number you have available, then click Go.

Catalog Search – Manufacturer Part # - Results Our Manufacturer Part # search ignores spaces and special characters. We also, automatically insert a wildcard before and after the part number you enter. This approach improves the quality of the search results. You can review the results to find the item you need. If a large number of results are returned (maximum of 200), you can use the “find” (Ctrl-F on your keyboard) feature to help locate the specific item you are looking for. Once the item is located, simply enter the quantity you need and click Add to Cart. Note: Not all the items we sell are available on our web site. If you don’t find the item you are looking for, please contact your KGP Logistics sales rep.

Catalog Search – Item # Item # search allows you to enter a KGP Logistics specific item number, which you may have available from previous purchases. Enter the 10-digit item number and click Go.

Catalog Search – Item # - Results Ordering information for the individual item is presented. Now, simply enter the quantity you need and click Add to Cart.

Catalog Search – Customer Part # Enter the specific customer part # you need and click Go. Note: Customer Part # search is only available if we have loaded your proprietary part numbers in our database.

Catalog Search – Keyword Enter the keyword or words you want to search for and click Go.

Catalog Search – Keyword - Results Ordering information for the key words you entered are presented. In this example, “curved claw hammer”, each item returned had to meet all 3 criteria. Now, simply enter the quantity for the item or items you need and click Add to Cart.

Catalog Search – Product Category (Drill Down) Click on Search by Product Category.

Catalog Search – Product Category A list of our product categories is presented. Choose a Product Category to begin narrowing your search. In this example the category is – Tools & Accessories.

Catalog Search – Product Category – Product Group A list of our product groups is presented. Choose a Product Group to continue narrowing your search. In this example the group is – Hand Tools.

Catalog Search – Product Category – Group - Type A list of our product types is presented. Choose a Product Type to continue narrowing your search. In this example the type is – Hand Tools. Next select the type of tools you need (Hammers).

Catalog Search – Product Category – Group – Type - Results The results are displayed at the bottom of the page. To display detailed ordering information, select the item you want to see from the list of items displayed.

Catalog Search – Product Category – Group – Type - Results Detailed ordering information is now presented. Now, simply enter the quantity for the item or items you need and click Add to Cart.

Catalog Search – Manufacturer (Name) Choose a manufacturer from the alphabetical list presented in the drop down list box.

Catalog Search – Manufacturer (Name) - Results Search results are presented based on the manufacturer chosen. A maximum of 200 search results are displayed. Now, simply enter the quantity for the item or items you need and click Add to Cart.

Catalog Search – Advanced Search Click on Advanced Search for more search options.

You can filter your results by any one or all of the available filters – Matching All of the words Any of the words Exact phrase Search Fields All product content Product titles/Item Descriptions Manufacturer Choose from an alphabetical list of all available manufacturers All Categories Choose from all available product categories

Catalog Search – Advanced Search Click on Advanced Search for more search options. Advanced Search also provides the ability to search for an item by Item #, Manufacturer Part # and Customer Part # (if loaded in our database). You can also filter by Manufacturer name as well. To search by Manufacturer name only, simply leave the Item Number field blank.

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table Contents All search results are displayed in “ordering tables” Ordering tables contain the information needed to make a purchasing decision. This information includes: Item # Customer Part # Description Manufacturer Model # Manufacturer Part # Minimum Quantity Order Multiple Unit of Measure Package Quantity Image Quantity Available PDF Price

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table Contents – cont’d 1. Item # - This is the 10-digits part number assigned to an item by KGP Logistics. 2. Customer Part # - If available, customer specific part numbers are also displayed. 3. Description – The detailed description of the item. 4. Manufacturer – The 4-digit number assigned to the manufacturer by KGP Logistics as well as the manufacturer’s name. 1 3 2 4

Manufacturer Part # - The manufacturer’s part number as loaded in our system. 7. Minimum Quantity - The smallest amount of the item which can be ordered. 8. Order Multiple - The smallest multiple of the item which can be ordered. (If order multiple is 4, then you must order 4, 8, 12, 16, etc.) 5 7 5 6 8

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table Contents – cont’d 9. Unit of Measure – The specific unit of measure for the item. 10. Package Quantity - The number of items contained in the package. 11 . Quantity Available - The total quantity available from all distribution center locations. 12 . Price – The amount you will be invoiced for the item. Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table - Images If provided by our manufacturers, images are available at the item level. Hovering over the thumbnail image will temporarily enlarge it for better clarity. If you want to print or save the image for future use, simply click on it and it will stay open until you close it. Note: Images are intended to depict the physical appearance of an item, but may not reflect exact color or size.

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table – Stocking Locations The total on hand inventory for all stocking locations is displayed under Quantity Available. You can view inventory levels at each stocking location by clicking on the quantity displayed.

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table - PDF If provided by our manufacturers, PDF’s (product data sheets) are available at the item level. You can open the PDF by clicking on the Description or on the PDF icon.

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table – List Price If provided by our manufacturers, the “Suggested List Price” of an item is displayed. To see this price, simply hover over the words, “List Price”.

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table – Reduced Pricing At times, some items may be offered at reduced pricing while the quantities last. These items cannot be backordered or drop shipped at the reduced price. Orders cannot be placed for quantities larger than the Quantity Available. All inventory is subject to prior sale. Reduced price items are indicated by this message.

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table – Accessories When available, a list of accessories for individual items is available. Click on the link – “Accessories” – to see these recommended items. Accessories are often used in conjunction with the product you selected.

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table – Alternates When available, a list of “alternates” for individual items is available. Click on the link – “Alternates” – to see these recommended items. Alternates are similar to the technical specifications of the item selected.

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table – Equivalents When available, a list of equivalents for individual items is available. Click on the link – “Equivalents” – to see these recommended items. Equivalents are items that meet the same technical specifications as the item selected

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table – Backordered Items Backordered items are indicated by the work Backorder in the Quantity Available area. Clicking on the word/link, Backorder, will open a Product Inquiry form which can be completed and submitted online.

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table – Backordered Items – cont’d Much of the required data fields needed for this form are already filled in for you. Just complete the remaining needed information and submit the form. This form is automatically routed to our sales team for processing. You will typically receive the requested information via an email response.

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table – Drop Ship Items Drop Ship items (item shipped directly from the manufacturer) are indicated by the word Drop Ship in the Quantity Available area. Hovering over the word/link Drop Ship will display the manufacturers minimum billing and average lead time for the item (if provided by the manufacturer.). If more detailed information is needed, clicking on the word Drop Ship will open a Product Inquiry form similar to Backordered items.

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table – Inquire At times, due to price fluctuations of raw materials, such as copper, we may not be able to obtain firm pricing for impacted items. In the cases, the Inquire will appear in place of Price. Clicking on the Inquire link will open an online form similar to Backordered or Drop Ship items which you can submit for more information. Since the item is not priced, it cannot be ordered online.

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table – Kits When an item is sold as a Kit (which may include multiple items from different manufacturers), then the Quantity Available is displayed as Kit. Click on Kit will display the individual components of the kit and the available inventory for each item and the total number of kits available.

Catalog Search Results – Ordering Table – Kit Details Once the kit components are displayed, you can see the available inventory for the Kit. If you wish to order any one of the kit components, simply search for the individual item number.
