Italianate Architecture Brandon Revlock

Was inspired by the 16th century and was mainly used in the 19th century. The stories of the buildings can range from 1 story to 10 stories. Brick and wood. All these houses are made in Italy.

It has low pitched or flat roofs. Imposing cornice structures. Projected eaves supported by corbels.

The style uses a lot of vertical lines starting with the roof down. The color is just plain nothing special. But has the same rhythm throughout.

There are two main houses in the U.S. That have this Italianate style. One is in Annefield Virgina built in 1858. Another one built in San Francisco, California.
