Presentation transcript:

Lesson 2 Crisscross Applesauce I can determine the transversal and the resulting angle relationships.

Vocabulary Transversal- a line that intersects two or more lines. Ex. Alternate interior angles- angles formed when a line (transversal) intersects two other lines. These angles are on opposite sides of the transversal and are between the other two lines. Ex.

Vocabulary Alternate exterior angles- angles formed when the transversal intersects two other lines. These angles are on the opposite sides of the transversal and are outside the other two lines. Ex.

Vocabulary Same-side interior angles- angles forms when a transversal intersects two other lines. These angles are on the same side of the transversal and are between the other two lines. Ex.

Vocabulary Same-side exterior angles- angles formed when a transversal intersects two other lines. These angles are on the same side of the transversal and are outside the other two lines. Ex.

Where are the transversals?
