La calaca: Una persona famosa Present a historically famous person La calaca: Una persona famosa Present a historically famous person. Write the following on an index card. Name Se llama … Le dicen … (They call him/her) 2. Where from Él/Ella es de … 3. Age (at time of death or “prime”) Tiene # años. 4. What does he/she do… Two things Sings, dances, invents, travels, helps people, creates, talks to people, practice sports, etc. *You speak of them as if still alive (in the present)*

La calaca de día de los muertos Do not write the name of your persona famosa on the front. Your title: La calaca de día de los muertos Your person must … Be deceased. Be historically/ scientifically/artistically/famous or important to a field of study. Be a recognizable “icon” of some sort. Use at least 3 “props” to represent the character. Cut out the shape and glue to construction paper. You can decorate the figure and around the figure if needed. Be creative. Be appropriate. Be respectful. Remember, you are trying to remember or honor this figure for their famous acts/deeds/talents.
