WRO Development Work Spain Development Ghana Development Extremely successful project Spain now level two members working towards level one membership (earliest 2009) Two national events held and to host WRC 2007 Ghana Development Fourth mission to Ghana commences November 2006 Now spreading to regions outside of Accra New interest from oil companies (fire and major incident preparedness) Poland Development Partnership with WHO & GRSP working with Polish Fire and medical services Some progress delays due to change of government New approach - target individual regions. UKRO Event 2007 Cardiff 12th – 14th July Located in the heart of Cardiff City Conveniently situated for all the city's hotels and amenities A multi-purpose venue with over 5,000 sq metres of event space Dual conference and exhibition events can be accommodated Located within walking distance of the Millennium Stadium The Venue – Cardiff International Arena (CIA)
UKRO Event 2007, Cardiff 12th – 14th July Challenge Development Changes made to the extrication format mean more teams can progress through to the final stages of the Challenge The ‘Standard’ extrication will be based upon the existing unlimited scenario (teams of five have 20 mins and unlimited use of all hydraulic equipment) The ‘Complex’ extrication will have multiple casualties with a severe entrapment (teams of six will have 30 mins and use of all hydraulic equipment) All teams to participate in the ‘Standard’ extrication. Best performing teams to participate in the ‘Complex’ extrication (anticipated to be at least 16 teams)
