DEPARTMENT: TECHNICAL SERVICES PROCESS CONTROLLER (OWEN SITHOLE) TASK LEVEL T6 BASIC SALARY R105 541.00 per annum. In addition, fringe benefits include a 13th cheque, membership of the provident fund, group life insurance, medical aid, housing allowance as well as leave provisions. ADVERTISED Internal staff MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS The incumbent will be responsible for attending to the treatment or purification of water or wastewater through the application of specific operating procedures controlling plant performance, conducting of tests and executing approved corrective measures to address deviations and attending to the removal and disposal of debris from components and / operating sections of the plant to ensure process outcomes complies with standards and / prescribed specifications and optimum operating functionality is maintained. Applicants must possess Class II Operator Process Controller certificate in terms of Department of Water Affairs. The post requires relevant plant operating experience up to six weeks. KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS PROCESS CONTROL Plant operations. GENERAL FUNCTIONS Plant housekeeping / cleaning activities. SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF THE POST: The incumbent may be required to work after hours.
