Which Church is true? There were many churches on the earth (click 1 2 3) but they all taught different things. Joseph didn’t know which one to join. He wanted to know: (click 4 5 6 7; read slide)

One day Joseph while was reading the Bible he read in James chapter 1 verse 5: (click to next slide)

If any of ye lack wisdom, let him ask of God… (Read slide) Joseph knew that he lacked wisdom, he didn’t know which church was true. He decided to do what the scripture said. He would ask God.

Early one morning Joseph went to a grove of trees to pray. Read slide.

A pillar of light appeared above Joseph’s head. Read slide.

(Click 1) Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared before Joseph in the pillar of light.

This is my beloved Son, hear Him. Heavenly Father pointed to Jesus and said: (read slide)

Jesus told Joseph that the true Church of Jesus Christ was not on the earth and that he should join none of them. (read slide) Jesus told Joseph many other things and then they left him.
