Hands-On Equations in the Target Classroom An Introduction

By Grade Level 3rd grade: understanding of set up and solving of algebraic equations 4th grade: familiarity with positive and negative numbers through understanding blue pawn and white pawn as opposites 5th grade: further familiarity of positive and negative numbers through use of blue pawns, white pawns, red cubes, and green cubes
