Writing: Students are practicing letter formation and learning to capitalize sentences and names. Please work with your child on this at home. Phonics: This week students will be studying the /r/ blends as in broth, crush, fresh, prom, drag, grill, and truck and the /s/ blends as in scam, skill, smash, scum, and skid. Students will have a spelling test on Friday Math: We are starting our unit on shapes. Dr. Seuss Week February 27th-March 3rd Monday- Mixed up Monday- Wear PJ’s Tuesday- Top hat Tuesday- Wear a Dr. Seuss hat or your favorite hat Wednesday- Wacky Wednesday- Wear your wackiest clothes Thursday- Theodore Thursday- Dress like your favorite Dr. Seuss character Friday- Funny Food Friday- Wear green (We will have green eggs and ham for breakfast) Little Dribbler practice Below are the practice dates for February. K, 1, and 2 will be practicing together 3:15-4:00 Feb 21st Feb 23rd Mar 2nd Pleasant Plains Summer Baseball registration will be held on the following dates... Saturday February 25th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the fire station. Saturday March 4th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the fire station. Saturday March 11th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Midland Softball field. Registration fee is $50 and must be paid at the time of registration. There is a $10 discount for multiple children.
