Bay of Pigs Was a failed military invasion of Cuba undertaken by the CIA-sponsored paramilitary group on 17 April 1961 and funded by the United States government's Central Intelligence Agency .

Berlin Wall A concrete wall that seperated East Berlin and West Berlin from 1961 to 1989, built by the Communist East German government to prevent citizens from fleeing to the west.
