Annual refresher training to maintain a “Red Card” This training is required to participate in state mobilizations. The training is also required for all firefighers in SCFD7. A separate training book is created containing the Wildland / State Mob information. WILDLAND / STATE MOB

Quarterly SCBA competency Perform the quarterly requirement for SCBA use. Company officers may use this as an opportunity to review emergency procedures, buddy breathing, trans-fill procedures or other skills utilizing and SCBA. Drivers License Review – Department I.D. Review Ensure the operators of your emergency vehicle are carrying a valid Washington State Drivers License. This task can be easily completed by the company officer. If your department has department ID cards or SCBA accountability cards, ensure your firefighters have these cards. Turnout Gear. PPE inspection Firefighters shall inspect their PPE. A form has been included to guide you through the inspection process. Company Enrichment Firefighter 101: Perform the firefighter I skills Company enrichment is intended to develop skills for the firefighters, driver/operators, lieutenants, captains, battalion chiefs and any other person within your organization that may operate on an incident. Many times company enrichment is an article highlighting a “close-call” or an new technique to stretch hose. It may include a video to review to see how another department performed well or experienced difficulties or unforeseen events. Company enrichment should start conversation or debate within your company to broaden every members horizon.
