Why you need to learn new skills The learning industry is being disrupted by new technology Learners are autonomous New ways transfer knowledge Statistics about millennials Changes in the last few years How things will be different in the next few years.

The learners are in control What they learn How they learn it When they learn it Autonomous learners

The learners are in control What they learn How they learn it When they learn it Autonomous learners

The Learners Multitaskers Connected Tech-Savvy They can juggle many responsibilities at once Shorter attention spanThey can listen to you and check their text messages and plan where to get vegan food Word will spread if they like or dislike learning experience they got from you They are much more tech-savvy than all other generations. It comes natural to them Milenials statistics What this means for us. We have to be better By 2025, Millennials alone will make up that 75 percent of the workforce Just tell me what I want to know https://business.linkedin.com/talent-solutions/blog/2013/12/8-millennials-traits-you-should-know-about-before-you-hire-them Multitaskers Millennials are multitasking pros and can juggle many responsibilities at once. This also means that we are easily distracted and find social media and texting hard to resist. They can listen to you and check their text messages and plan where to get vegan food. Millennials know everything there is to know about social media because we are living it. We are constantly perusing Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.  - it’s how we share and get information. If you are boring other people may know about it There’s no doubt that the majority of Millennials are although Generation Z may soon surpass us (yikes!). Have you seen them on their phones? Millennials   Yes, it sounds a little needy…and it is. But, many Millennials grew up with constant praise from their Baby Boomer parents. It’s what they know Short an to the point Collaborative Millennials are extremely team-oriented and enjoy collaborating and building friendships with colleagues. They like to work in groups and know what other people are doing The term Millennials generally refers to the generation of people born between the early 1980s and 1990s, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. Some people also include children born in the early 2000s 1664 Wheres gen X self-entitled narcissists or open-minded do-gooders more of an emphasis on the self than in previous generations
