Topic Choose a subject to research from your Core C classes (Starting Points, Comp and Lit or History) that intrigues you and you would like to understand better. The topic must be arguable. This means that you are making a claim which someone else might disagree with, and you have to persuade them.

Examples NOT: Slavery should be outlawed. INSTEAD: While the government has a role in stopping slavery, the main way to fight slavery in any form is by seeing people as made in the image of God.
