The Truman Show 2.2 Essay Writing

Start with “Analyse how…” Questions usually fall into one or two of the following categories: Setting Character (development, relationship or an important/main character) Theme (main ideas) Specific scene(s)/important episodes and/or beginning and/or ending Mood/tone/atmosphere Conflict 2.2- Questions

Things You Must Include Discussion of techniques that are used and HOW they help us to understand something. This is what the HOW part of the question is asking for. Techniques and specific examples are like quotes, you should mention them in each paragraph. Discussion of the director’s purpose- throughout. Discussion of the wider relevance of the film.
