Science Fair – “Stating The Question” What makes a good question for a science fair?

Which is better?

DOL Samantha and Laura are going to be doing an experiment today. They first read the directions for the lab. (1) They will be working with hazardous chemicals, so they pic up some safety gloves. (2) They also put on safety goggles. (3) Tim does not wear any safety goggles. (4) Tim and his friend are playing around and then Tim splashes some of the chemicals into one of his eyes. (5) Samantha notices and directs him to the eyewash station. Luckily, Tim was not hurt! This was a very good lesson for him.
