For today, 02/07 Pick up a table and try not to get tagged  Study your assignment from yesterday #popquiz

Word’s most developed countries, 2015 (1.) Norway (6t.) Germany (2.) Australia (6t.) Ireland (3.) Switzerland (8.) United States (4.) Denmark (9t.) Canada (5.) Netherlands (9t.) New Zealand Norway is the world’s most DEVELOPED country. Think about what we talked about yesterday (healthcare, education, access to resources, the CRAP, etc.). When it comes to these things, Norway sucks the least at doing them.  Norway Niger Most Developed (186 other toponyms lie somewhere in here) Least Developed

The big picture… DEVELOPMENT IS the process of making peoples’ lives better – through the diffusion of technology and knowledge. DEVELOPMENT IS MEASURED by the UN’s Human Development Index (HDI), which considers development to be a function of three factors: (1.) a decent standard of living; (2.) a long and healthy life; and (3.) access to knowledge.

Pick any country – ONE from EACH of the three categories: very high, medium, and low.

Data Collection and Analysis Using the CIA World Factbook, investigate the information found in these tabs: “People and Society” and “Economy.” Fill out your table.
